Kyle Hanlin

Development Director

Growing up in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, Kyle Hanlin has always considered Appalachia home. He graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in political science and a minor in economics. After college, he began his career with a brief stint in grassroots for a presidential campaign. Kyle joins the Cardinal Institute with a decade of experience in growing free-market organizations and helping free-market supporters achieve their philanthropic goals.

Kyle enjoys spending time with his dog (a boxer named Kat), playing golf, all things NC State Wolfpack athletics, and watching baseball.

Fun fact: Kyle and his brother once put on the suits and Sumo wrestled on the field during the 7th inning stretch of a minor league baseball game. He disputes the results.
