Lisa graduated from WVU in 1999 with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Upon graduation from WVU, Lisa worked at Wilbur Smith Associates in Charleston as a roadway engineer designing drainage for the planned Corridor D road expansion in Parkersburg.

In 2000, Lisa joined her family’s business, CAS Cable, as a Business Manager. During this time, Lisa worked in many aspects of the company, including negotiating pricing agreements with local and national programmers, human resources, pricing and operational decisions, and implementing new accounting and marketing programs. During her time at CAS, Lisa also obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration from WVU in 2005 utilizing a new joint program between WVU Morgantown, WVU Charleston and WVU Parkersburg, allowing students to learn remotely during the evenings and weekends while also working.

Lisa worked at CAS until 2013, when she took time off to care for her fourth daughter, who was born. Over the next five years, Lisa utilized her engineering background to teach STEM at her daughter’s private school, as well as to homeschool three of her four daughters for one year. This time, Lisa was given a hands-on view of the experiences of students and teachers at a private school in West Virginia, as well as of homeschooling. In 2017, Lisa also began adjunct teaching business classes at WVU Parkersburg which later moved into a full-time roll, teaching Small Business Management, Accounting and other business-related courses at the local college.

In 2019, Lisa returned to CAS part-time while also working at WVUP and remained until 2023. During this time, Lisa helped the business expand into Charleston, negotiating franchise agreements, purchasing office and warehouse space and hiring employees as well as maintaining operations in the current operating areas.

Lisa resides in Marietta, Ohio, with her husband, Ken, and their four daughters, and currently manages the operations of their foundation, Enduring Causes Foundation.
